2010 Household Arts Contest
The Household Arts Contest is held every year during Fall Festival to allow Hopkins County residents the opportunity to show off their ability to grow, sew, paint, photograph, build, bake, make, create, and decorate!
Items are judged by trained judges, and each entry receives either a blue, red, or white ribbon. Best of Show and Reserve are awarded in each age group and category.
Literally hundreds of visitors view the exhibit each year. After all, what is a county fair without the down-home atmosphere of baked goods, crafts, woodwork, and other displays of home-town talent?
Arts & Crafts Show
The Arts and Crafts Show is a great way to take a break from the heat during the Hopkins County Fall Festival. Artisans from all over
Everything from lusciously scented candles to wrought iron home décor can be found among the unique exhibits of these crafty artisans. Looking for a one-of-a-kind present? Or, perhaps, you want to find a unique baby gift. This is the perfect place to find just the right thing for your home, your neighbor, a teacher, a friend, or “just because”.
